Commissioner bio
Gully Flowers is the founding Commissioner of Ocean Stone Skimming Worldwide. He grew up skimming stones and has spent countless hours with his two boys skimming stones in oceans all over the world. He founded OSSWW to give the sport a shared rulebook, a sanctioning process for hosts, and a credible international calendar.
Pacific Open 2026 summary
The Pacific Open is the inaugural OSSWW coastal championship, held Saturday, September 26, 2026 at South Ponto Beach in Carlsbad, California. South Ponto is the competition venue. Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas is the athlete hotel, media hub, sponsor hospitality base, and event headquarters. Format is qualifiers, finals, and sunset awards.
